Anne H. Prince, 83, passed away on July 25, 2016. She was born September 17, 1932 to the late Ocie and Bertha Hodnett. Mrs. Prince and her husband, Albert, have owned and operated Prince Service Center in Opelika for 47 years. Fondly referred to as "Miss Anne", she always enjoyed the relationships made with customers, some of which felt like family. She loved cooking for her family, tending her flowers and vegetable garden, and holiday traditions. She is preceded in death by her brother, Aaron Hodnett. Mrs. Prince is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Albert Prince; two daughters, Diane (Rodney) Vickers, Julie (Bob) Forrester; two sons, Steve (Ashley) Prince and Wayne (Nina) Prince; and brother, Clyde Hodnett. She loved and enjoyed six grandchildren, Sheri (Davis) Bartlett, Craig (Miste) Vickers, Megan (Jason) Mundie, Jason (Jeanne) Forrester, Blake Prince and Brandon Prince; three great-grandchildren, Kelsey Sumner, Allie Ruth Vickers and Jackson Vickers; and one great-great grandchild, William Davidson. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. CST. Graveside service will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. CST with Dr. Mike King officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the United Methodist Childrens Home, 3140 Zelda Court, Montgomery, Alabama 36106, or a charity of your choice. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. CST.
