Obituary

Betty Boggs Schell, of Auburn, was born in Wedowee, AL on December 11, 1932 and passed away at the Bethany House on August 28th, 2015, at the age of 82. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church of Auburn, AL, the Lee County Pilot Club, the Red Hat Club, the St. Marys Ladies Auxiliary, and the East Alabama Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary. She was daughter to the late Jim and Reafer Boggs. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John "Jack" Schell; cousin, Judy Boggs Manley; brother-in-law, Thomas Schell (Helen); nephews, Tim Schell (Sherrie), Theodore Schell, (Amy), Jackie Schell; great nieces, Katherine Gattman, Courtney Warden (Andy), and Lexee Schell; great nephews, Teddy Schell (Stephanie) and Max Schell. Visitation will be held in the parlor of Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Sunday, August 30th, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. / CDT. The Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 31st at 11 a.m. at St Michaels Catholic Church in Auburn, with Father Bill Skoneki officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. / CDT Frederick-Dean Funeral home will be directing the service. Interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m./CDT on Monday, August 31, 2015
