Cara Leann Michael-Allen of Opelika, Alabama was born to the late Roy and Barbara Gombert in California on May 29, 1968 and passed away at her home on July 5, 2016. She was 48 years old. She was in office administration for the Social Security Administration in their Opelika office for 18 years. She is survived by her husband of 18 years William Allen; children, David J. Michael, II, John P. Michael (Ashley), Amanda J. Michael (Calvin), Matthew J. Michael (Candace), Lori D. Selby (Jr.), Billy Allen, Ashley Murphy (Shane), William A. Allen, Jr.; seven grandchildren; sisters, Cathy Morehead, Calla Jensen, Terrie Gerhold, and brother Kenneth Gombert. Visitation will be in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Friday, July 8, 2016 from 4:00 until 5:45 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Friday, July 8, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. with Bishop Bennett officiating.
