Diane Barker Rogers, of Valley, Alabama, was born in Opelika on August 29, 1954, and passed away at EAMC on Sunday, July 3, 2016. She was 61 years old. She was a Pharmacy school graduate from Auburn University in 1976 and was on the Deans List numerous times. Diane was preceded in death by her father, George Alvin Barker. Diane is survived by her husband of 41 years, Thad Rogers; mother, Jeanette Barker; daughter, Amy Rogers (Elizabeth Cantrell); son Michael Rogers (Leigh); grandchildren, Libby Rogers and Logan Rogers. Visitation will be in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Libba Stinson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Tallapoosa County Memorial Gardens in Camp Hill, Alabama. Visitation will be in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
