Elaine Evans Thompson was born on October 14, 1944, and passed away on May 21, 2017. She was 72 years old.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, H. L. Thompson, Jr., "Tom," and sister, Patricia Kirkley, and parents, Roy B. and Phyllis Evans.
Elaine is survived by her children, Tommy Thompson (April) of Auburn and Peake Thompson Wilson (John) of Atlanta; grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Sidney Wilson and Christian Johnson; brother, Roy B. Evans, Jr. (Shirley) of Birmingham; sister, Dale E. Riley (Charlie) of Birmingham; and brother-in-law, John C. Thompson (Beverley) of Birmingham. Elaine is also survived by many extended family members including cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was in the property management business with her husband and was the owner and operator of Orchard Way Mobile Home Park in Auburn. Her greatest passion was her family, especially her grandchildren, and was happiest when spending time with them.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 25th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Town Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
