Francis "Hugh" Jones, of Opelika, was born in Opelika on October 29, 1928 and passed away at Col. Robert L. Howard State Veterans Home October 26, 2015. He was 86 years old. He was the son to the late William Ocie and Annie Maude Jones. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Holly Frances Jones, and brother, William C. Jones. He is survived by his former wife, Helen D. Jones; daughters, Vicky Lynn Goolsby (Bruce), and Tammy Baker (Freddie); two grandsons, Lee and Adam Baker, and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. CDT.
