Geraldine "Gerry" M. Flournoy of Beauregard was born in Wyoming on August 11, 1927 and passed away at her home in Beauregard surrounded by family on June 7, 2016. She was 88 years old. She operated the Beauregard Shooting Range. She loved birds and her dog, Stella. She took great pride in her yard as well. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, C.E. Flournoy; brother, Leslie Mathews; and son-in-law, Jim Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Frost (Tim), sons, William Flournoy, Allen Flournoy (Karen); daughter, Norma Jean Van Wettering; step-children, Iris Smith, and Steven Flournoy (Teresa); grandchildren, Justin Frost (Heather), Kallen Grigsby (Dallas), Ryan Abbett; great-grandchild, Brantley Frost, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Rusty Sowell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The family would like to thank all the caregivers that have helped them over the past few years.
