James Thomas Roberts, Jr. of Opelika was born to the late James Thomas and Adele Elliott Roberts on February 12, 1939 and passed away at his home on May 1, 2020. He was 81 years old. He loved to fish and most importantly he loved taking care of his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jane Roberts; son, Thomas Lamar Roberts. He is survived by his children, Annette Roberts Greene (Thomas Martin), Tammy Elaine Furguson (Kenny), James Winfield Roberts (Melinda); as well as 11 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. A Graveside was held at Garden Hills Cemetery on Monday, May 4, 2020. The family wants to give a special thanks to Kay Massey Moore, and Kindred Hospice.
