Johnny Wayne Welcher, Sr of Opelika, Alabama was born in Tallapoosa County, Alabama on August, 4, 1943 and passed away on July 22, 2016 at his home in Opelika, Alabama. He was 72 years of age. He was the son to the late Eugene and Mary Emma Welcher. He is preceded in death by one sister, Emma Jean Taylor, and two brothers, Jimmy Welcher and Joey Welcher, as well as two nieces Amanda Williams and Haley Garrett. He is survived by his children Johnny W Welcher Jr (Joanne), James "Peanut" Welcher, Tammy Racine (Mike) and Constance Morgan (Rob). Grandchildren include Kenneth Brown (Amanda), Craig Simmons, Tiffany Blankenship (Joseph), Heather Berry, Ryan Cannon and Dylan Cannon; as well as five great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
