Leila McCormick of Opelika, Alabama was born on July 4, 1929 in Georgia to the late Flynn and Mozell Childers and passed away at EAMC on November 14, 2016. She was 87 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy McCormick; son Roger McCormick; daughters Sherry Shaddix, Glenda Rudd, and Tony Mayo. She is survived by her daughters Nancy Heldreth (Don), Peggy Tillery (William); son Rusty McCormick; 27 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren, and 25 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Living Way Ministries on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 11:00 until 12:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at Living Way Ministries at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Tommy and Sylvia Howze. Interment will follow at Hephizbah Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Living Way Ministries on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 11:00 until 12:45 p.m.
