Madeleine "Dee" Nolan was born on December 5, 1921 to Adolf and Cecilia DeSorcie in Boston, Massachusetts. She is survived by her husband, James Nolan and her two sons, Richard and Nieves Nolan (Melbourne, Florida) and Robert and Linda Nolan (Dothan, Alabama); and her two daughters, Pauline and Ray Geiselhart (Houston, Texas) and Patrice Nolan (Frankfort, Kentucky). She is also survived by nin grandchildren: Natalia, Ana, Kyle, Jennifer, Clint, JT, Rick, Tom and five great-grandchildren: Madison, Audrey, Sophia, Thomas and Emily. She was an elementary school teacher for 25 years from the northern climes of Alaska to the sunny shores of the Republic of Panama. She concluded her career at Lee-Scott Academy in Auburn, Alabama in 1986.
