Mary J. Coon of Auburn was born on September 1, 1933 and passed away at her home on May 13, 2019. She was 85 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Coon; son, Charles Jeffrey DuBose. She is survived by her sons, Jerry DuBose and Roy DuBose (Paula); her dog, Hanna; special friend, Melinda Nunn. Visitation will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 9:45 until 11:45 a.m. Graveside service will follow Friday, May 17, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in Auburn Memorial Park with Reverend Larry Doster officiating. The family would like to extend their thanks to the caregivers and the Staff at East Alabama Medical Center for their loving care.
