Myrtle Lois Hamby of Auburn, Alabama was born to the late Lee and Beatrice Gibson Pitchford on December 27, 1923 and passed away at Oak Park on June 25, 2017. She was 93 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Hamby; sons, Roland Hamby, Jimmy Hamby, Johnny Hamby. She is survived by her sister, Mildred Elliott; brother, Artie Pitchford; daughters-in-law, Rita Hamby, Carol Hamby; brothers-in-law, Charles Hamby (Miriam), Jerome Hamby (Anne); grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Johnny Hamby officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m.
