"Pat" was born in Opelika on July 20, 1941. She went home to be with the Lord December 20, 2018, while being lovingly cared for by the Bethany House Staff. Since August 9, 1958 John W. McFarland was honored to be her husband. Together they had daughter, Beverly Ann (Wayne) McFarland-Lisle; son, John "Beau" McFarland, Jr.; granddaughter, Katie (Corey) Lisle-Grizzle; great-grandsons, Rex, Dean, and Curtis. A very special grandniece, Kathy (Brandon) Cherry-Beck; great-grand nephew and niece, Judson Blakely and Harper; Pall Bearers: Wayne Lisle, Corey Grizzle, Scott Hollis, Jeff McFarland, Kenneth Ridley, Gary Phelps. Honorary Pall Bearers, Rex Grizzle, Judson Cherry. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Monday, December 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Monday, December 24, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
