Reed Arvis Eden, age 77 of Smiths, Alabama, was born in Indiana on June 20, 1937 and passed away at his home on December 21, 2014. He was of the Baptist faith and was saved at toward the end of his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Allen Eden and his mother, Elsie May Murray; as well as his sisters, Betty, Sylvia, Christine, brother, Ed Eden, Bobby Eden, great granddaughter, Parker Sheehan.
He is survived by his fiance, Charlene Oakland; brothers and sisters, Kenny, Tommy, Linda, Shirley, Peggy, Maggie; children, Kimberley Mitchell, Arenia Adkins, Terena Jordi and Anthony Eden; grandchildren, Brittney Chandler, Jonathan Adkins, Steven Adkins, Connor Radford, Shane Radford, Ashley Radford, Robert Sheehan, Hilary Sheehan, Brian Williams and Cody Sheehan; great grandchildren, Charlie Radford, Reid Chandler, Jed Sheehan and Jayden Sheehan.
Mr. Eden was a self-driven entrepreneur and had a passion for buying and selling storage auctions and appliances. He was battling cancer for some time and stayed strong until the end. His love for his children never ended. Thanks to all the staff at U Save it pharmacy in Smiths Station.
