Rolyn David Hadaway of Waverly, Alabama was born to the late Roy and Vera Hadaway on August 15, 1941 and passed away at his home on May 19, 2017. He was 75 years old. He was a retired carpenter who loved woodworking and gardening. He is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Hadaway. He is survived in death by his wife of 35 years, Sheila Hadaway; children: David Hadaway (DeeDee), Angie Guess (C.W.), Michael Hadaway, Keith Hadaway (Kim), Cynthia Clack, Brenda Davis (James), Alice Lauderdale, and Larry Leatherwood ; 18 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; sister, Janice Holman; brothers, Clinton Hadaway, Barry Hadaway, Jeff Hadaway, Gary Hadaway, and Sterling Hadaway, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members. Visitation will be held Monday, May 22, 2017 in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 5:00pm until 7:00 p.m. Central Time. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon, Central Time with Reverend Phillip Doss, Sr. and Reverend Clinton Hadaway officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery, in Valley, Alabama.
