Mr. Ross W. Bracey, Sr., age 83, of Opelika, was born on April 17, 1929 in New York, and passed away on March 10, 2013 at Arbor Springs. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Daisy Young Bracey. Mr. Bracey is survived by his children, Preston Taylor and wife Lollie, Sandra Stinson and husband Jerry, Ross Bracey Jr. and his late wife Sharon Bracey, and Carol Fillingim and husband Gary; grandchildren, Terri Bishop, Keith Stinson, Sherry Till, Wesley Stinson, Ross Bracey III, Jennifer Bracey, Terry Wood Jr., Brent Wood, and Katelyn Fillingim; ten great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 2:00 PM CST at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Donald Deelee will be officiating.
