Ruth Ann Nunn Bond, 83, a resident of Loachapoka, AL passed away at Oak Park Nursing Home in Auburn, AL on Dec. 24, 2015. She was born January 27, 1932, to the late Sallye Roe and Robert Alexander Nunn in Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight S. Bond, her brother, James William Nunn, her sisters, Peggy Nunn Webster and Patricia Nunn Barkuloo and her grandson, David Bond Haggard. She is survived by her two children, Cindy (Warren) Haggard of Bartlett, TN and Bill (Anne) Bond of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Matthew Bond of Loachapoka, AL, Sarah Bond of Brevard, NC, David Bond of Charleston, SC and Ann Haggard (Eric) Brennan of Columbus, GA. Memorial services will be held in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Loachapoka Community Cemetery Maintenance Fund (8755 Lee Road, 188 Auburn, AL 36879).
