Ruth B. Waits of Auburn was born to the late R.G. and Beatrice Bringhurst on September 29, 1923 and passed away at EAMC on July 31, 2017. She was 93 years old. She was a Member of the D.A.R. the P.E.O. sorority, Auburn Women's Club, several bridge clubs, and was the Queen of the "Bunco Babes." She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years W. Dawson Waits. She is survived by her children, Dawson Waits and Randy Waits; grandchildren, Stephen Waits, Molly Waits, Bianca Waits, and Elliott Waits. Celebration of Life will be held at Azalea Place in Auburn on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Bill Huffman officiating. Family to receive friends after the service in the Dining Room at Azalea Place.
