Sarah Ann Merritt, of Opelika, was born on December 10, 1943 and passed away at EAMC on December 26, 2015, at the age of 72. She was daughter to the late John W. and Foy White. She is survived by her children Loretta Barber (Allen), William Allen (Cara), Phillip Allen, Kimberly Noles (Coby), Mary Phillips; uncle Gordon Hill (Laura), 16 grandchildren, Paul, Terri, Lori, Billy, Bill, Ashley, Sabrina, Skylar, Natalie, Hope, Corbin, Collyn, Krystal, Dwayne, Summer, and still-born baby Brett; 16 great-grandchildren; and long-time friend, Danny Roberson. Visitation will be held in the parlor of Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Thursday, December 31st, 2015 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. / CDT. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 31st at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Frederick-Dean Funeral Home, with Brother David Babson officiating. Frederick-Dean Funeral home will be directing the service. Visitation will be held in the parlor of Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Thursday, December 31st, 2015 from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. / CDT.
