Susan Debra Hammock of Waverly, Alabama was born to the late Gillis and Sylvia Childs in Phenix City, Alabama on November 12, 1962 and passed away on December 25, 2016. She was 54 years old. She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband Roger D. Hammock; children: Kristopher Hammock, Kiesha Clark, Justin Hammock (Gina), and David Tielking (Alecia); 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren; sisters Loretta Hamby (Corbin), Mary Harless (Ray); brothers Gillis Childs, Jr. (Joann), Frank Childs, and aunt Theresa Hamby. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
