Virginia Gail Fretwell, 74, of Opelika, was born August 19, 1940 and passed away on November 8, 2014 at Bethany House. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Thelma Fretwell. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Spivey (John); niece, Jaime Lashley (Rick); three great-nieces; and two very special cousins: Cherie Kinder, Mitchell, IN, and Ed Messer (Paulette) Jacksonville, FL. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Thad Endicott officiating.
