Wilma Williford of Auburn, Alabama was born to the late Augustus and Pearle Bethune Grouby on October 18, 1922 and passed away at her home on August 16, 2017. She was 94 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Henry N. Williford; brother, W.A. Grouby; sisters, Jewell G. Jones, Virginia G. Adams; and daughter-in-law, Sueann Williford. She is survived by her sons, Dr. Hank Williford of Montgomery, AL. Frank G. Williford of Montgomery, AL. and Wayne (Linda) Williford of Alabaster, AL.; grandchildren, Julie Conn (Brian) of Wetumpka, AL. Trey Williford of Birmingham, AL. Allyn Williford (Rachael) of Montgomery, AL. Gus Williford of Birmingham, AL. and Wendi Williford of Seattle, Washington; great grandchildren, Tyler Conn, Tristan Conn, Trace Conn all of Wetumpka, AL. Frank Williford, and Evans Williford both of Montgomery, AL.; sister, Jeanette Horne (Lamar) of Dothan, AL.; niece, Judy Adams Worrell of Wake Forest, North Carolina and friend, Maureen Donnan of Opelika, AL. Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Town Creek Cemetery with Reverend David Camphouse officiating.
