Mrs. Jean Spraggins, 89, was born October 20, 1935 and passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at East Alabama Medical Center.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David Spraggins.

Jean was blessed with three children, Johnnie David Spraggins, Jr., (Masa), Audie Spraggins (Dana), and Kathy Spraggins Wheeles (Donny). Grandchildren: Joshua Spraggins, Amy Buck, Jada Spraggins, Kelli Capps (Trey), Jonathan Spraggins, Aaron Spraggins and Traci Bryer. She was blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Jean worked many years at the Opelika Sewing Room, Master Lock and Walmart.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 19th, 2025 from 3:00 - 5:00 at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home in the Parlor.

Jean will be laid to rest with her husband David, at the Veterans Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL.
