Anthony Shane Hurst was born December 7, 1971 and passed away January 11, 2014 at East Alabama Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Dion Hurst. Mr. Hurst is survived by his daughter, Pricilla Dianne Hurst; parents, Melvin B. Hurst, Jr. (Georgia) and Darlene M. Hall; grandmother, Alice J. May; brother, Marcus Hurst; sisters, Peggy F. Hurst and Melody R. Baker (Ashley); step-brothers, Chris Hall Sr. (Becky), and George Hall Jr. (Tonia), and James Everett; step-sister Juanita Hall; six nephews, eight nieces, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles; and special friend, Angela Murphy. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 pm in the parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
