B. J. Bartee, age 63 of Waverly, Alabama passed away on December 13, 2011 at her home with her family by her side. Mrs. Bartee is survived by her husband, Lott Bartee; two daughters, Kioko Butler (Klint) and Jody Kirkley (John); one stepdaughter, Samm Bartee (Lance); and four grandchildren. Nana had a special place in her heart for her granddaughters, Kayla and Hailey. Mrs. Bartee graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She was employed with a contractor for NASA as a senior systems analyst on the ARES project. She greatly enjoyed her work as well as her coworkers.
