Barbara Breedlove Foster

1935-2023

Barbara Ann Breedlove Foster of Sugar Hill, Georgia formerly of Opelika, Alabama was born on December 24, 1935 in Bruce, Mississippi to the late Charlie Breedlove and Hazel Sue Kate Breedlove. She grew up in the Belforest Community in Baldwin County, Alabama and passed away at home in Sugar Hill, Georgia on October 14, 2023. She was 87 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband Quinton B. Foster and sister Mae Baker and brothers Charles Breedlove, Robert Breedlove and Ricky Breedlove.

She is survived by sons, Paul Foster (Sharon), and Mark Foster (Karan); grandchildren, Brent Foster, Quinton Foster (Abigail), and Cody Foster (Kelly); great granddaughters Lydia Foster, Ruby Foster and nine siblings, Jimmy Breedlove (Teresa), Travis Breedlove (Barbara), Tommy Breedlove, Rebecca Goodwin, Catherine Thomas, Dennis Breedlove (Patsy), Mickey Breedlove (Debi), Brenda Breedlove, and Linda Wilson.

Visitation will be held in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 12:45 p.m.

Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Garden Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flower donation can be made to Opelika First Baptist Church Senior Ministry.
