Brenda Louise DuBose, 74, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at EAMC in Opelika, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence Bo DuBose, her parents, Louise Pratt and Robert E Gates, step-mother, Zelma Pat Gates, son-in-law, James Berry and her beloved Cujo.

She is survived by Daughter, Kimblin DuBose Berry, Son, Timothy Bubba DuBose, Sisters, Wanda (Randall) Parker, Dorothy Jean Willis, Brothers, James (Elaine) Gates, Bobby (Sandra) Gates. Step-Sisters, Delores Palmer, Nancy (Donald) Walton, Dale (Bill) Turnip seed, Step-Brother, Jimmy(Teresa) Evans, Grandchildren Jay (Alyson) Berry, Cody (Allie) Berry, Lane (Keri) Berry, Haley (Nathan) Gossett, Hannah DuBose, Kristie DuBose, Magan (Scooby) Seamon and 15 Great-Grandchildren including Maddie Ledbetter that held a special place in her heart.

Nanny, as she was known by most loved her family, spending time at the casino and her Auburn Tiger's Football. She also loved her little campion, Bella.

A Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 2pm-4pm at Pentecost Methodist Church 3665 Church Hill Road Camp Hill, Alabama 36850
