Carlie Jean Frank, age 84, of Auburn, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011. She was born in Claremore, OK, on December 22, 1926. Jean, as she was known by family and friends, was a member of the Red Hats Society of Auburn and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Opelika. She was retired from Auburn University Extension Department. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Elmer Frank; and daughter, Gretchen Kay Frank. She is survived by sons Bill E. Frank of Wilsonville, AL; and Hedrick (Rick) E. Frank (Marica) of Opelika, AL; grandchildren Brandi Frank, Monique Worley, Randall Robinson, Cassie Taylor, and Alyssa Frank; and 5 great-grandchildren.
