Carol Virginia Smith

Carol Virginia Smith, 89, passed away on February 18, 2025 at South Haven Health and Rehabilitation in Birmingham, Alabama. She was born in Little Texas, Alabama, was a lifelong resident of Lee and Macon Counties in Alabama and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Harrison Smith and Katie Mable Jinks Smith, and her thirteen older siblings.

Carol is survived by her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Smith (James) of Warrior, Alabama, Margaret Smith (Cecil) of Little Texas, Alabama; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home in the Parlor. A service will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel with interment at Little Texas Cemetery, with Pastor Thad Endicott officiating.
