Carrie Chavers, age 27 of Auburn, was born in Lafayette, Indiana on October 12, 1984 and passed away at her home on October 25, 2011. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Jason Chavers; her parents, Edward (Michelle) Hoevet and Tana (Mike) Ooms; brother, Chris Ooms; sister, Mary Walsh; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bobbie and Sonny Chavers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m./cst at Fredericks Funeral Home.
