Mrs. Catherine P Bowen, 85, of Opelika, Alabama, passed away on January 1, 2025 at East Alabama Medical Center after a short illness, with her family by her bedside.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Lorine Davis of Opelika, Alabama; husband, Robert E. Bowen of Valley, Alabama; son, Richard (Rick) Bowen of Valley, Alabama.

She is survived by sister, Jeanie Arrington and husband Wendell of LaGrange, Georgia; granddaughters, Karina (Shawn)McDavit, Rebekah (Hunter) Potts; grandson, Larry Senn; niece and caregiver, Jeanette Gresham and husband Chris of Opelika, Alabama, Cindy (Josh) Draper of Valley, Alabama and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.

Visitation will be in the Parlor of Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Friday, January 3, 2025 from 1:00p.m. until the Funeral hour at 2:00p.m.

Funeral service will be at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with Reverend Cecil Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery.

Frederick-Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
