Charles Theodore (Ted) Meadows, Jr.
1964-2022
Charles Theodore (Ted) Meadows Jr., son of the late Charles and Virginia Meadows gracefully passed on Saturday, July 9th surrounded by his wife and children in the comfort of his home. Ted was born on November 29th, 1964 in Dadeville Alabama.
As a child he attended First Baptist Church of Reeltown where he was baptized, dedicating his life to Christ. Ted graduated from Dadeville High School in 1983 then attended Alex City Junior College. As a young man he attended Opelika Technical College where he received his certification as an electrician. He worked many jobs as an electrical engineer, always faithfully and dutifully providing for his family whom he cherished. He lived a life overflowing with love; for Jesus, his wife, his children, all his family and friends, and for Alabama Football.
Ted's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife: Stacy Meadows; his children and their spouses: Matthew Meadows (Ian), Reece Pye (Hannah), Hunter Meadows (Ashley) and Joshua Meadows (Brooke); his two grandchildren Davey and Corva Pye; sister: Gayle Stevens (Mike); niece: Erica Woody; nephews: Will Brown, Zach and Perry Stevens, and a host of devoted cousins and friends. Ted is preceded in death by his adoring parents and sister, Charlene Brown.
The family will be receiving visitors for the viewing on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. CST at First Baptist Church of Reeltown located at 16963 Hwy. 49 S. Notasulga, AL 36866.
The funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 Noon CST at the same location. Reverend Wes Gunn will be presiding over the ceremony. Ted Meadows will be laid to rest in the Cemetery at First Baptist Church of Reeltown alongside his parents Charles and Virginia Meadows.
Pallbearers will be Darrell McWhorter, Scott Meadows, Zach Stevens, Will Brown, Walker Meadows and Perry Stevens
