Charles Winslett, of Opelika, Alabama was born on October 20, 1936, and passed away on July 3, 2016 at Arbor Springs. He was 79 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. and Ethel Winslett, and a brother, Johnny Winslett. He is survived by his sisters, Merlene Shirah (Audrey D.) and Dorothy Baker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Graveside will be Friday, July 8, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the Rosemere Cemetery with Reverend Smith officiating. The family wants to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff and caregivers at Arbor Springs, especially Tina, Chandler, Al, and Marsha.
