Clara Lou Cook, age 73 of Opelika, was born in Georgia on August 22, 1938 and passed away at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster on January 11, 2012. She is survived by her children, Cindi (Robert) Bishop, Kenny (Donna) Cook, Terrie (Mike) Brown, Doug (Tiffany) Cook; brother, Billy (Leesa) Hill; sister, June Elmore; grandchildren, Diane (Joe Neal) Gober, Jamie (Christina) Bishop, Allison Cook, Kevin Cook, April (David) Cook, Crystal (Trey) Lee, Bubba Brown, Jake Cook, and Sam Thomas Cook; great grandchildren, Carlie Bradley, Destinee Oates, Olivia Gober, Rylann Bishop, Gracie Brown, Alyssa Lee, and Alyson Lee.
