Clifford Armond Banks, Jr., 77, was born on September 7, 1937 and passed away on March 7, 2015. Mr. Banks enjoyed gardening, fishing, and listening to country music. He was an animal lover and always had a couple of dogs around. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Lee Banks; brothers, Theron Banks and Johnnie Banks; and his son-in-law, Earl Brown. Mr. Banks is survived by his daughter, Martha Brown; son, Wayne Chavis; grandsons, Daniel Chavis and Branden Chavis; brothers, Haywood Banks (Kay) and Jimmy Banks (Donna); sisters, Mary Jo LeSueur (Homer) and Betty Kittrell; sister-in-law, Sara Banks; special friend, Wanda Martin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Grantham officiating. Interment will follow at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Alabama. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the funeral hour in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home.
