Clinton Franklin Setzer, 79, exited this world and entered into the arms of our Lord, on January 6, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Clint was born on April 14, 1935 in Catawba, North Carolina to Edgar and Mary Ellen Setzer. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps before settling down in Opelika, Alabama. There he spent his career, and eventually retired, from Ampex Magnetic Tape Division. He was currently living in Lillian, Alabama. Clint was cherished by many and enjoyed his family, Auburn football, and most recently, relaxing at the beach. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Faye Setzer, his son, Frankie, and daughter, Cristy; as well as both parents, Edgar and Mary Ellen Setzer. He is survived by his three children, Mary Evans (Wayne) of Helena, Alabama, Lewis Setzer (Deborah) of Opelika, Alabama, and Joe Setzer of Lillian, Alabama, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, as well as many other family and friends.
