Clyde W. Griggs was born in Reeltown, Alabama on July 7, 1923 and passed away at Arbor Springs on July 20, 2017. He was a Member of Liberty United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Leonard Griggs and Josephine Holley Griggs; wife, Annie Mae Griggs; sister, Mary Lou Manning; brothers, Henry Griggs, Andrew Griggs, Charlie Griggs, and Burtis Griggs. Mr. Griggs is survived by one sister, Elsie Manning, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be in the Sanctuary at Liberty United Methodist Church Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. Mr. Griggs homeplace growing up was near Saugahatchee Creek where he enjoyed fishing and farming. Visitation will be in the Sanctuary at Liberty United Methodist Church Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.
