Coy M. Calhoun of Valley, Alabama was born in Roanoke, Alabama on September 13, 1927 and passed away at Bill Nichol's State Veterans Home on January 29, 2018. He was 90 years old. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aileene Calhoun; brothers, Ernstine Calhoun, Jack Calhoun and Roy Calhoun; sister, Becky Calhoun, Mary Emma "Sissy" Calhoun; granddaughter, Beverly McKendree; parents, Rufus Sanders and Emma Weater Cottle Calhoun. He is survived by his son, James W. Catrair (Cheryl) and daughter, Karen Rivera (Patrick); grandchildren, Blake Catrair, Jordan Catrair (Fiance Steve Postma.) Graveside service will be held at Garden Hills Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 with Reverend Thad Endicott officiating.
