Mr. Dale T. Underwood

November 28, 1948 - May 18, 2026

Dale Travis Underwood (77) of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Monday May 18, 2026. Mr. Underwood was a beloved son, brother, uncle, brother in law, cousin, and friend to many. He had a great sense of humor and was an avid reader.

Mr. Underwood graduated from Jordan High School in 1967. He worked a number of years in hospital patient support and later in retail as a cashier. He was married to his beloved wife Kim for 50 years.

Mr. Underwood was preceded in death by his parents Preston A. Underwood and Annie Bice Underwood. His sister Judy Underwood Gayles and his wife Kimberly Barker Underwood. He is survived by his Niece Sharon Cutler (Bill) and several cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rivertowne Center of Columbus for their care over the last 30 months and also the staff of Gentivia Hospice of Columbus.
