Dawn C. Yates 1953-2021 Dawn C. Yates of Valley, Alabama was born in Langdale, Alabama on October 22, 1953 and passed away at East Alabama Medical Center on April 4, 2021. She was 67 years old. Dawn loved to bowl and was in two bowling leagues. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Clara Crutchfield; grandson, Alex Yates. Dawn is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard C. Yates; children, Brandy Yates McCulloch (Patrick), Wendy Gray (Walter), Clay Yates (Niki); grandchildren, Kacie Thomas (Landon), Sara Scott, Brodie Yates, Anna Gray, Grant Yates, Ethan McCulloch, Paeton Jones (Daniel), and Corey Gray (Shanecia); great grandchildren, Avereigh Jones, Owen Jones, Isaian Gray, and Aiden Gray. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would encourage anyone who is interested to please consider giving blood at your local blood bank.
