Diana Marie Herrera

Diana Marie Herrera was born January 14, 1971 in Greeley, Colorado. She passed away January 21, 2023 in Opelika, AL. She was 52 years old.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Juan and Martina Para.

She is survived by husband of 12 years, Jose Martinez; children, Natazhia Lucero and Juan (Jesse) Herrera; and grandchildren, Diana, Gareth, Yuletsy, Angie Candela.

Diana was very helpful to those around her and wore her heart on her sleeve. She would always go above and beyond to those in need. She loved to draw and paint. Her favorite Disney character was Mickey Mouse. She loved her grandchildren very much; a day never went by without her checking on her children and grandchildren to make sure that they were doing okay.

A visitation will be held at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home Thursday, January 26, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
