Donald Fugate

December 20, 1934 – July 8, 2023

Donald "Don" Fugate passed away in Auburn, Alabama on July 8, 2023. He was 88 years old.

He was born in Kentucky, on December 20, 1934 to the late, Jesse and Lucy Brewer Fugate.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Fugate; children, Karen Coffel and Kenneth

Fugate (Debbie); and beloved grandson, Ryan Coffel.

Don was a mechanic and Chevron Station owner and operator for 35 years. He spent years of

involvement with the Boy Scouts with his son. He was a member of a couple of local RV Clubs,

including The Triskaideks and The Alabama Happy Travelers. He loved to spend about 2

weekends a month with the local RV Community. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

His family will hold a private gathering at a later date to celebrate and honor his life.
