Doris V. Moore Ford, of Opelika, was born in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Elbert and Carrie Moore on March 9, 1942. She passed away at her home on January 23, 2012. She was 69 years old. She was a member of Purpose Baptist Church but was unable to attend due to health problems. She was a graduate of Beauregard High School. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ford; and an infant daughter, Terri Rosalyn Ford. She is survived by her brother, Ralph Moore and his wife Lois; sister, Marie Ford; sister-in-law, Betty Henderson and her husband Cecil; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special friends, Mable Motley and Annie Simms.
