Doris June Reeves, age 72 of Opelika, Alabama, was born on February 19, 1939 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee and died on September 7, 2011 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. She was a school teacher for 35 years and loved to read. Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her husband, Merrion L. Reeves. She is survived by her daughter, Merri Lynn Gregory and husband David; three grandchildren, Brighton Lynn, Braden Reeves, and Brylee Ruthanne Gregory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beulah Elementary School Library.
