Dorothy J. Motley, 64, was born on December 29, 1949 to the late Joel and Ruth Prickett, and went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2014. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Motley was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Dale Motley and grandson Christopher Wayne Motley. She is survived by her sons, Jerry W. Motley (Helen) and Jimmy Motley; grandchildren, Barry McDonald (Denyea), Crystal Lowery (Jamie), Jade Motley, Jensen Motley, and Jackson Maness; great-grandchildren, Zachary Laird, Kain McDonald, and Lily McDonald; her brothers, David Prickett, Charlie Prickett, and Eugene Prickett (Sissy); and a very special niece that was dear to her heart, Susan Hammock. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Parlor at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home with Brother Stan Renfroe officiating. Interment will follow at Garden Hills Cemetery.
