Dorothy Ann "Dot" Wesson

1936 – 2023

Dorothy Ann "Dot" Wesson was born June 7, 1936 at her home on Clanton Street in Opelika, AL. She passed away at her home on January 30, 2023 on Star Street in Opelika, AL. She was 86 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beluah Mae Sizemore and Willie Woodard.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Balberde, Alan Lee Wesson, and Charles Mitchell Wesson; grandchildren, Eric Neal Weldon (Jill), Kristy Hall, Christopher Stewart, and Regan Wesson; great-grandchildren, Kiley, Kinsley, Kailtyn, Kessa (Weldon), Sadie Hall, and Layla and Molly Stewart; sister, Patricia Blackmon; and brother, Wayne Lisenby.

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 at Garden Hills Cemetery beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Frederick-Dean Funeral Home will be handling all arrangements.
