Emma Gooden 1925-2021 Emma Gooden of Beauregard was born to the late Robert Hugh and Willie Pearl Groce in Macon County, Alabama on October 8, 1925 and passed away at her home on August 12, 2021. She was 95 years old. Emma graduated from Tuskegee High School. She retired from the United States Department of Agriculture, and was a proud member of Watoola United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Orr and Harold Gooden; siblings, Lester Groce, Bernard Groce, Daniel "Sonny" Groce, Elizabeth Mayberry, and Mary Foster. Emma was loved and survived by many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held Sunday, August 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Garden Hills Cemetery.
