Emma Frances Winstel, infant daughter of Robert Andrew (Drew) Winstel and Bonnie Jean (Shamp) Winstel of Madison, Alabama, went to be with the angels on March 12, 2015. Emma was born on February 11, 2015 in Huntsville, Alabama. Emma is survived by her twin sister, infant Sophia Claire Winstel, and her paternal grandparents Robert and Beth Winstel of Ft. Wright, Kentucky (formerly of Knoxville, Tennessee and Cincinnati, Ohio). Emmas maternal grandparents are Jerry and Martha Shamp of Auburn, Alabama. Emmas aunts are Caroline Winstel McCloud and Hayley Anastasia Bryant. Her uncles are David Gabriel Shamp of Auburn, Alabama and Charles Bryant of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and Matt McCloud formerly of Knoxville, Tennessee. A host of loving friends and family including great-grandparents were touched by Emma Francess brief life. Her special dignity was apparent even in infancy and death. Emma and her twin sister, Sophia Claire Winstel, were both born on February 11, 2015 at Huntsville Women and Childrens Hospital on Governors Drive, Huntsville, Alabama. The family would like to thank the devoted doctors, nurses, and staff of that hospital and especially the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for their unstinting efforts and support of the newborn twins and their family. They continue to care for infant Sophia Claire at this time. Funeral services for Emma Frances will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at Frederick-Dean Funeral Home, Opelika, Alabama with Father Bill Skoneki of St. Michaels Catholic Church officiating. A graveside service will follow immediately at Town Creek Cemetery on South Gay Street, Auburn, Alabama.
