Emmett Jack Branch, of Waverly, Alabama, was born in LaGrange, Georgia on March 5, 1933 and died at his home on September 24, 2012. He was 79 years old. Mr. Branch was of the Baptist faith. He served in the Navy and was a member of the Auburn-Opelika Elks Lodge #1834. Mr. Branch was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie Mae and Arthur Lee Branch; and sister, Emma Lou Avery. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Joyce Branch; children, Randy Branch, Keith Branch and wife Phoebe, and Bruce Branch and wife Valerie; grandchildren, Kurt (Meg), Clay (Emily), Conner (Ashley), Mallory, Meredith, Madeline, Katelinn, and Matthew Branch; great grandchildren, Jack, Brooks, and Charlie Branch; and numerous other family members.
